Lovex
Lovex is a pill-based medication for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. The drug comes in distinctive white-coloured pills with a division in the middle. Lovex is used to treat erectile dysfunction, including in patients with diabetes, weight problems, and those with a trauma on the spine.
The drug is not an aphrodisiac however, and will not produce sexual stimulation on its own - it's meant to just make it easier to attain an erection.
Precautions
Patients who've shown to be supersensitive to one or more of Lovex's ingredients should not use the drug. Patients treating themselves with nitrates fall in the same category, as Lovex can interact with nitrates very severely and cause unwanted side effects.
Lovex has not been tested with patients with some specific conditions, such as retinitis pigmentosa, infarcts, strokes or other life-threatening conditions. Therefore, patients who've had such experiences should not use the drug.
Instructions
Lovex is meant for oral consumption. The commonly used dosage is 50mg about one hour before the sexual activity. The patient may have some specific conditions affecting them, which may warrant a higher or lower dosage. In all cases, the dosage should not exceed 100mg, and should not fall below 25mg to achieve a visible result.
You should not take the medicine more than once daily, and elderly patients may need to especially reduce their dosages. Generally, anyone over the age of 65 should keep to a maximum dosage of 25mg. People under 18 years should not use the drug as it has not been designed for such individuals.
Warnings
Patients with underlying cardiovascular problems may experience severe complications during sexual intercourse under the effects of Lovex. One of Lovex's most profound effects is the increase in blood pressure, so doctors should carefully evaluate patients willing to undergo Lovex therapy.
The most commonly encountered problems which may warrant an alternative treatment are problems with bleeding, ulceration, and other blood-related issues. If you're currently treating yourself with other medicines, make sure you provide your doctor with a complete listing of them.
Side effects
Some patients have reported changes in their vision, as well as dizziness and headaches while using the medication. While these effects haven't manifested themselves in every single case, it's still advisable to refrain from using heavy machinery or driving while under the influence of Lovex.
