CIALIA comes in the form of mint-flavored breath strips. Active ingredient

The active ingredient in CIALIA is a chemical called sidenafil, which is a selective inhibitor of cyclic guanosine monophospate (cGMP)-specific phosphodiesterase type 5.

Effects

The medication's delivery system - edible strips - allows for almost immediate dispensing inside the organism through sublingual routes. The strips dissolve almost instantly on the tongue, and the chemicals begin acting in about thirty minutes.
